 11 [The below four verses form the true definition of grace. Grace is the Spirit of God, which was poured out on all men at Pentecost. Grace teaches us to repent from sin and how to live righteously; and then grace purifies us to become zealous for good works. Grace appears to all men, but only brings salvation to those who have been taught how to live righteously and then purified.]

      For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,
