 ⁴ For there are certain men who have crept in unnoticed, whose condemnation was predicted long ago, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lawlessness and wantonness, a license for immorality; and deny and disown our only Master and Lord Jesus Christ.¹ [These men twisted grace from a teaching process that leads to purity, to be an excuse for continuing to sin. By claiming grace excuses all sin, these men denied and disowned Jesus as their Lord and Master, who said, "repent or perish, and sin no more."
