1 John 2:18-19

18 Little children, it is the last hour ; and as you have heard that antichrist will come, even now many antichrists have come. By this we know that it is the last hour. [An antichrist is anyone preaching or teaching whose thoughts, words, and deeds are not controlled by the anointing, which is Jesus to come into man's flesh in sufficient measure to guide and control his thoughts, words, and deeds — thus being a person's true Lord. You can call Him Lord and Master, but if you are still sinning you deny Him as Lord; even Judas called Him Lord and Master. The antichrists were believers who left them; from the Word of the Lord within: "they did not have patience." Ambitious to preach or teach, seeking their own glory, eager for income, still thinking their own thoughts, they went out as the many false prophets have gone out into the world. Even 2000 years ago, John said many antichrists had come, and Paul said many preached for financial gain as unruly, vain talkers, and deceivers.]

19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us; but they went out, so that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.4 [The antichrists were believers who left them, to preach or teach their vain opinions from their carnal minds and evil imaginations; from the Word of the Lord within: "they did not have patience." Without patience to endure the cross, suffering, and tribulation to the end, they went out as the many false prophets have gone out into the world, who tried to seduce the true Christians with their false gospel and false Jesus, promising liberty without the necessity of mortifying the sinful nature on the inward cross of self-denial. The ease of their false gospel became pervasive, until today all of Christendom ignores the Bible's many specific exclusions, the requirements, and the qualifying conditions of salvation. See Penington's writing on Babylon to understand more how the spirit of antichrist rules Christendom.]

22 For false Christs and false prophets will arise, and show signs and wonders, to seduce even the elect, if it were possible.3 [Jesus said the false prophets in sheep's clothing would come. John said the antichrists and false apostles had come and had gone out from among them. Peter saw the false teachers had come. Paul saw the false apostles had come, and warned the brothers night and day for three years of more coming. And in Revelation, John saw where the whole world was to go after the false prophets and the false church, which occurred shortly afterwards. The false church is Revelation's whore of Babylon, riding the beast of many names, (41,000 sects in Christendom), with horns like a lamb [resembles the true church], but who speaks like a dragon, (men speaking from their carnal minds, which is enmity with God, and their vain opinions from their evil imaginations), instead of speaking words supplied by the Holy Spirit, as Jesus and the Apostles did.]

7 For many deceivers have entered into the world, people who do not confess Jesus as Christ [the anointing] coming in their flesh. This is the deceiver and an antichrist.2 [An antichrist is anyone preaching or teaching whose thoughts, words, and deeds are not controlled by the anointing, which is Jesus to come into man's flesh in sufficient measure to guide and control his thoughts, words, and deeds — thus being a person's true Lord. You can call Him Lord and Master, but if you are still sinning you deny Him as Lord; even Judas called Him Lord and Master.  3 And every spirit that does not confess Jesus Christ is not of God. This is the spirit of antichrist, which you have heard would come, and even now it is already in the world.2 [John told us in 1 John 2:18-19 that many antichrists had already come, who had gone out from among them; who tried to seduce the true Christians with their false gospel and false Jesus. So they could not confess Jesus to rule their thoughts, words, and deeds because they preached that being totally unnecessary according to their false gospel. From the Word of the Lord within: "they did not have patience." They did not have the patience to follow the hard, narrow way of the cross that the Apostles preached; being tempted and ambitious to teach before being perfected and authorized, they fell away to instead preach Christian liberty from the law without the necessity of first crucifying their sinful nature on the inward cross of self-denial. Their doctrines quickly became pervasive and dominated Christendom, and so Christendom became the whore of Babylon by adulterating with the kings of the earth, (the Roman Emperors), who declared their doctrines to be the only ones allowed; and then Christendom, aided by the crushing boot of the Roman Empire, persecuted and killed the true saints. John later saw and prophesied how the whole world would worship Satan, following the false prophets' beastly religion with horns like a lamb. And so all of Christendom became the whore of Babylon, rejecting the cross as foolishness and ignoring the Bible's many specific exclusions, the requirements, and the qualifying conditions of salvation. See Penington's writing on Babylon to understand more how the spirit of antichrist rules Christendom.]

22 Who is a liar? He who denies that Jesus is the Christ [anointing]. He who denies the Father and the Son is antichrist.6 [An antichrist is anyone preaching or teaching who denies that he has the anointing to control all his spoken words and deeds, which anointing is the Christ, (the word Christ means the anointing); and by his sinful conduct and conversation, he denies Jesus and the Father as his controlling Lord or anointing. Who has the Christ, is controlled in thought, word, and deed, by his true Lord; and he does not sin. From the Word of the Lord within: "Remember, every person who sins denies Him as Lord and Master." Any sinner can call Him Lord and Master; even Judas did that! If a man sins, he is a slave to sin, and his Lord and Master is sin or Satan.]

17 So that no man might buy or sell, except he who had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.5

18 Here is the need for discernment. Let him who has understanding enough calculate the number of the beast; for it is the number based on man; and his number is six hundred sixty six [666].6
