Psalms 119:36

36 Incline my heart to your testimonies, and not to covetousness. [Covetousness is wanting something more: a new car, a new house, a vacation in Hawaii, clothes, a body, fine dining, a drink, a drug, a cooler cell phone, etc. Covetousness is forbidden both in the Old Testament and the New, and by the law of God, and by Christ and his apostles. Paul has defined covetousness as idolatry. The world has totally forgotten about covetousness, and Christianity's gopel of prosperity preachers even teach that covetousness is rewarded by God. And so, while today's so-called Christians confess their creed, sing their hyms, say their prayers, and study their Bibles; all is with only their mouths for their hearts are just as foul as their so-called pagan neighbors, both wanting the same things. From the Word of the Lord within: "Christianity has no idea who I am or what I stand for. Remember, every person who sins denies Him as Lord and Master. Everyone is expecting Jesus to be their excuse. I've warned them and given them the requirements and preached the exclusions; they should not expect anything else or conclusion."]

21 For from within, out of the hearts of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, [The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked...Jer 17:9]

22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lack of restraint, an evil eye [envy], blasphemy, pride, and foolishness. [..for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth...Gen 8:21]

23 All these evil things come from within a man, and defile him."3 [Every man's heart starts filled with evil, filled with sin, defiled, and disqualified for heaven. Unless your heart is cleansed and purified by the Lord's Spirit that destroys sin within man, every man walks according to the ways of the world and the god of this world, fulfilling their desires and lusts of their flesh according to their thoughts, according to their evil imagination, according to their carnal minds that are enmity against God and cannot be subject to the law of God. Every man is judged by their words and works, including those who claim to be Christians; God shows partiality to no man. From the word of the Lord within: "Only a heart that is purged of sin is acceptable to God. Everyone is expecting Jesus to be their excuse. If you are still sinning, you belong to sin and not to Me. See myself — thus no sin has a place in me. You are without excuse O man. Sin in believers is intolerable. The pure is innocent of all defilement." You can think you are a Christian and call Him "Lord," but if you die still sinning, you are banned from heaven. All defiled men are banned from heaven. When purified by grace, men are translated into heaven while on earth and then forever. To be freed of sin, even the desire to sin, you must obey the Lord's spoken commands that you expose yourself to hear, by waiting on Him in humble silence as you listen and watch; that is the one thing needed. Luke 10:39-42.]

Ephesians 5:3,5

3 But as becomes the saints, do not let sexual immorality, all uncleanness, or covetousness, be named among you even once.

5 For of this you can be sure, that no sexually immoral, or impure, or covetous person, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. [The peoples of the earth have ignored these perfectly clear behaviors, (sexual immoraity, impurity, covetousness), that exclude any and all from the kingdom. From the Word of the Lord within: "Ephesians 5:5-6: This the void of the earth, made perfectly clear. Those who are immoral have no inheritance in God's kingdom." Paul just told us that covetousness is idolatry. So whatever we want or value, we worship; and how one spends their free time defines their devotion. From the Word of the Lord within: "you must learn to hate everything you worship."]

1 Corinthians 5:11

11 But now I write to you not to keep company with any man who calls himself a Christian and is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an oppressive cheater; do not even eat with such a person.3 [Paul has defined covetousness as idolatry. Whatever we want or value, we worship, and how one spends their free time defines their devotion.]

5 Obstinate disputes of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, supposing that godliness is a source of financial gain;1 from such withdraw yourself.

10 For the love of money is the root of all evil,2 through which some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

31 And they come to you as the people come, and they sit before you as My people, and they hear your words, but they will not do [obey] them; for they show much love with their mouth, but their heart goes after their covetousness.  32  Indeed, to them you are like a very lovely song of one who has a pleasant voice and can play well on an instrument, for they hear your words but they do not do [obey] them.1
