16 How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to choose understanding rather than silver!
10 Receive my instruction, rather than silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.
19 Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust corrupt, and where thieves break in and steal;
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust corrupts, and where thieves do not break in or steal. [This is done by giving to the poor; not tithing, not giving to a sect — but by liberally giving to the poor. ]
33 Sell your possessions and give to the poor; provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, an unfailing treasure in heaven, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys.
19 My fruit is better than gold, yes, than fine gold; and my profit is better than choice silver.
36 For what does it profit a man, if he should gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?3

5 Obstinate disputes of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, supposing that godliness is a source of financial gain;1 from such withdraw yourself.
