Corinthians 10:3-5

Display Chapter and Footnotes

 For though we live in the flesh [body of flesh], we do not war after the flesh;

 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds,

 Casting down all our own decisions, and every barrier that is raised up against the wisdom from God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;1 [in order to not do your will, but do the will of God, as you are ordered by the Spirit, the Word of God you hear in your heart. From the Word of the Lord within: "It is many thougths that make the mortal man."]

Ephesians 6:11-17

 Put on the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

 Therefore take to you the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to resist and stand in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand.

 Stand therefore, having your waist girded [wrapped] with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.

 Above all, take the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

 And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God [the word of faith in your heart and mouth].
