|1 John 2:20,27|
20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.5
27 But the anointing that you have received from him abides in you, and you do not need any man to teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you all things and is truth, and is no lie; and even as it has taught you, abide in him.7[From the Word of the Lord within: "I choose whom to anoint; your response to my commands dictates my choice."]
7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is advantageous for you that I go away. For if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send him to you.
8 And when he comes, he will prove the world wrong [reprove all men] concerning sin, and concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment.1 [Every man has his day of visitation from the Holy Spirit, when he hears the Lord's quiet and anonymous reproofs. Those, who do not believe Him, (his words of reproof), remain in condemnation. But if a man heeds His reproofs, the Lord pours his Spirit and words on him, Pro 20:23,33; teaching a man how to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world; to then finally judge a man, gathering his wheat, (his works of love, energized and motivated by operational faith), into the barn and burning up the chaff (works of sin) with unquenchable fire — the Holy Spirit's baptism of death to the selfish spirit of Satan in a man.]
9 Of sin, because they do not believe in me. [When a man hears the gentle, anonymous call to forsake his evil ways, if he repents, God gives him more of His spirit and hunger to seek Him. Those, who do not believe Him, (the Lord's words of reproof), and continue sinning until death, suffer a hard judgment; and the words that man heard and ignored will be remembered, which same words will judge him, John 12:47-48, to his great shame and sorrow. The light shines in the darkness; and the darkness did not comprehend it. John 1:5. For everyone who does evil deeds (sins) hates the light (so hates Christ, who is the light) and does not come to the light for fear his deeds will be exposed and reproved. John 3:20. If we heed His reproofs and seek His kingdom and His righteousness as our life's first priority, by doing the one thing needed, (to sit at his feet and listen to His spoken words, Luke 10:39-42 ), grace first teaches us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, removing the sins from our heart, one at a time; this function of the Holy Spirit is named the Ministry of Condemnation.]
10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and you see me no more. [Then the Holy Spirit, sent by the Father and speaking from in the name of Jesus, having first redeemed us from all sin and purified us, teaches us how to live soberly, godly, and righteously in this present world, Tit 2:11-14; so that we are eventually able to practice righteousness, just as Jesus practiced it: let no man deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, even as He (Jesus) is righteous. 1 John 3:7. This function of grace, teaching us how to practice righteousness, is named the Ministry of Righteousness, which is much more glorious than the Ministry of Condemnation.]
11 Of judgment,2 because the ruler of this world [in every man] has been condemned. [The Spirit of Satan is in every man's heart, making man a slave to sin, until the Lord gradually purifies a man; and then upon his second appearance in your heart, when he brings salvation to those expecting and waiting for him, he crushes Satan under your feet, and destroys him with the brightness of his coming. 2 Cor 4:6, Heb 9:28, Rom 16:20, 2 Thes 2:8]
13 However when the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth.3 For he shall not speak of himself, but he shall only speak what he hears; and he will show you things to come. [From the word of the Lord within: "Truly, I say to you, all the truth is magnificent; you will marvel when you see it. There are those who profess to know truth, only having knowledge of the Bible. It is no value to me to know truths and not know the Lord. Do you know him or just pretend to know him; to know him is to have met him and listened to him. Seek the meeting. To be in Jesus is to be in truth."]
14 He shall glorify me; for he shall take from me what is mine, and shall show it to you.
26 But the Comforter, who is the Holy Spirit and whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things,6 and bring all things to your remembrance — whatever I have said to you.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.1 [The word, who is Jesus, is the life of God and the light of men. Christ is the light of men: the true light that enlightens every man who comes into the world, given to them so that they might believe. John 1:7,9. The life of God in measure to control men was lost for all men when Adam disobeyed God and fell. When you have crucified your sinful, selfish life and are afterward restored to the righteousness and holiness of God's image, Christ, then you live in Christ, and Christ lives in you, controlling all your words and deeds; and this life is then eternal. Eternal life is to be a new creature in Christ on earth and forever.]
9 Which was the true Light that enlightens every man who comes into the world.4 [All men have a small measure of the light (Christ) given to them so that they might believe the light's anonymous convictions of their evil ways to be true and eventually be saved; for God would have all men to be saved, and so He gives all men equal opportunity to be saved with sufficient light to guide them. If we persistently heed the light and word in our hearts that reproves us, then we receive more of His spirit, eventually being freed from all sin and seeing Jesus bring us our salvation and eternal life. With a hunger for righteousness we seek God by exposing ourselves to his further commands and teachings by waiting on him in humble silence as we listen and watch.]
|Romans 10:8,17 |
8 But what did it say? "The word is near you, even in your mouth, and in your heart [so you may hear and obey it];" that is, the word of faith, which we preach.1 [This quotes Deu 30:14, "But the word is very near to you, in your mouth, and in your heart, so that you may obey it." The Apostles preached that Christ speaks words from within your heart, to be heard, believed, and then obeyed in faith; thus the word of faith. The Apostles preached the words they heard spoken in their heart, and they preached that faith comes by hearing the word in your heart, Rom 10:17. Whoever comes to Him to listen to His spoken words, (from within your heart), and then obeys them, builds their faith on solid rock. Luke 6:47. You come to Him by sitting in humble silence, waiting on Him, as you listen for His spoken words and watch for His revelations.]
17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.5 [Faith comes by revelation: Christ, the Word in your heart, speaking to you from within your heart, Rom 10:8. The words I speak to you are Spirit and they are life-giving. John 6:63. Faith is a series of revelations. Do not assume that one revelation from God is your evidence of being saved; rather it is his call for you to seek him with all your heart and soul, as the first priority in your life. Christianity erroneously teaches that faith comes by belief in the message of the Bible; if so, then how did Abraham, Issac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Moses, etc. have faith when scriptures were yet to be written? From the Word of the Lord within: "Once again, my word is in your heart and mouth, which is there to obey. What is the evidence of your belief? — operational faith. Faith is to hear the Word of God and obey. Only those who want to be clean can hear. I am only reached by those with a penitent heart. The Spirit gives life with every word heard. Hear and live."]
