By revelation God will open the hidden meanings and mysteries of the scriptures if you seek Him by waiting on Him in humble silence, as you listen and watch.]

 3 As his divine power has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who has called us to glory and virtue;

 4 By which exceedingly great and precious promises are given to us, that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.1
