1 Peter 5:9
9 Resist him, standing fast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are being experienced by all your brothers in the world. [All who are determined to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. 2 Tim 3:12.]
18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that will be revealed in us. [Those who heed and obey what they hear as they persistently and patiently wait on God will see Jesus appear to bring their salvation. Heb 5:9, Heb 9:28. When Christ, who is our life, appears, then you will also appear with him in glory. Col 3:4. Christ in you, the hope of glory. Col 1:27 ]
1 Peter 4:12-13
12 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial, which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;
13 But rejoice, since you are partakers of Christ's sufferings, so that when his glory is revealed, you may be glad with exceeding joy.4
1 Peter 1:5-7
5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith to salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
6 In that greatly rejoice though it is necessary to suffer a few griefs now through various trials, [To receive salvation and the kingdom you first must suffer through tribulations and hardships. This has been mistranslated to be: you may have to suffer. Indeed, all who are determined to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. 2 Tim 3:12. The same sufferings are being experienced by all your brothers in the world. 1 Pet 5:9. Salvation comes after suffering. ]
7 So that the trial of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tried with fire, might result in praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.
