20 Now to him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, [From the Word of the Lord within: "Hope releases the power of God to change you."  27 To whom God would make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery in the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory;5 [There are five stages of Christ being formed within you; see The Mystery, Christ in You for the detailed understanding.  28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom, so that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.6 [There are many scripture references to the requirement of perfection in the New Testament, (click to see), and in the Old Testament too, (click to see).]

18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing; but to us who are being saved the cross is the power of God.5 [Those who take up the inward cross of self-denial quickly experience the power of God to begin freeing them from sin. From the Word of the Lord within: "with the true gospel there is ample proof along the way."]

Romans 1:16

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. For it is the power of God to salvation to everyone who believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. [The gospel is the ministry of the Spirit to totally free you from sin, as you repent from your old ways of selfishness on the inward cross of self-denial; to be washed, cleansed, and purified; to then be translated into kingdom of Christ; and then to live in union with Christ and God, on earth and forever. ]
