4 You first trusted in Christ. After you heard the word of truth, which is not hearing someone read the Bible; to hear the word of truth, is to hear the Spirit of Truth speaking to you. When he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth. For he will not speak of himself; but he shall only speak what he hears; and he will show you things to come. John 16:13. He will tell you of your coming salvation — and that will be good news indeed. In Eph 4:21, Paul qualifies hearing the word of truth's good news regarding your coming salvation, saying: Assuming you have actually heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus. This supports the statement that you must be taught by the Holy Spirit himself. John tells us: But the anointing that you have received from him abides in you, and you do not need any man to teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you all things, and is truth, and is no lie; and even as it has taught you, abide [remain] in him. 1 John 2:27.

and you were sealed with that Holy spirit of promise. When you seek to silently listen and obey the Lord, you will eventually be tested, to see if you are truly committed to obeying the truth, or if you love your lusts more. If you pass the test, you are given more of his Spirit; this is the seal of the Holy Spirit, or what is discussed on the web site as the Interim Reward. At this time you will also be told by God the very welcome news of your coming complete salvation.
