Isaiah 24

Previous Chapter | Next Chapter

1 [This chapter is usually thought to be parallel and similar to the book of Revelation. However, as the footnote to Revelation 21.1 explains, the seals, trumpets, witnesses, and beasts in the book of Revelation are not physical occurrences, but are personal experiences in the hearts of true, persistent believers, who die to self on the inward cross of self-denial; and there are several testimonies of that having occurred in the early Quakers, (in Rev 5, Rev 11, Rev 13, Rev 16, Rev 21). This chapter could easily be interpreted similarly; there are many parallel events. The many messages from the Word of the Lord within, (listed below in Footnote 2), seem to, (based on the limitations of my earthly mind), refer to this earth; however, so great is the mystery of godliness, so great is the mystery of an earth within each man's heart, so great is the mystery of Revelation being a personal experience, it is entirely possible that all the below messages refer to the earth within each man's heart; that earth being thinned of all sinners, populated and ruled by the Lord through His remaining, perfected saints whose thoughts, words, and deeds are all commanded by Him. I truly don't know if this chapter refers to the earth we know, or if it refers to the earth in every man's heart. When I asked to which earth the below messages referred, His answer was two-fold: 1) "there are one thousand murders each day", and 2) as paraphrased, it is your job to report the messages, not explain to what they apply. Apparently this intentionally remains a mystery.

Messages, (received in late April 2013), from the Word of the Lord within were:

"The whole world believes what is about to happen couldn't happen."

"My intent is to shake the entire world into a knowledge of my being."

In order to shake the entire world into a knowledge of His being, I believe the Lord is more likely to effect powerful, supernatural miracles that cannot be explained away, rather than some catastrophe that can be rationalized as natural. The more likely sequence of events is: first convincing miracles, then warnings to herald the coming events, and later the troubles themselves. Convincing miracles would be performed by perfected members of His body, and the miracles would necessarily be on a scale far beyond anything the world thinks is remotely possible.

Based on the above sequence of events, plus the absolute reliability of Fox's and other early Quakers' testimonies of the seals, trumpets, and vials of Revelation being a personal experience, we should focus only on expecting personal troubles, trials, and tribulations so that we can enter the kingdom and be prepared for whatever physical events occur afterwards. The Lord has previously said: "I will warn people about the coming troubles, about which there is no comparison. I will give ample time before the destruction of sin." When you, (along with the rest of the world), hear the warnings clearly stated, you will know to complete any required preparations. ]

1 This Behold, the LORD makes the earth empty, and makes it waste, and turns it upside down, and scatters abroad its inhabitants.

2 And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the creditor, so with the debtor.

3 The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled, for the LORD has spoken this word.

4 The earth mourns and fades away, the world languishes and fades away, the haughty people of the earth become feeble.

5 The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants, because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, and broken the everlasting covenant.1 [They have made grace a license for immorality; they have made the blood of Jesus an unholy thing, an excuse for continuing in sin and ignoring all laws; they have transgressed the law and broken the covenant. From the Word of the Lord within: "Remember, every person who sins denies Him as Lord and Master. For half of Christianity the blood will be disastrous. They would have no laws. The new law became unrighteousness. The covenant of the Lord is a breakage of the people." Those of you who think the blood of Jesus excuses your past, present, and future sins; you have broken the covenant of the Lord, you have made his blood evil and unholy, and you have shown contempt for the Spirit of grace.]

6 Therefore the curse has devoured the earth, and those who dwell in it are desolate; therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men are left.2 [The earth has become so evil, it must be purged; as it was purged in the time of Noah, so it is about to be thinned. From the Word of the Lord within: "Long have we tolerated evil in the world; it is no longer tolerable. A purge must take place; deaths are necessary. All is being done for the sake of the children."]

7 The new wine mourns, the vine languishes, all the merry hearted sigh.

8 The mirth of the tambourine ceases, the noise of those who rejoice ends, the joy of the harp ceases.

9 They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink will be bitter to those who drink it.

10 The city of confusion is broken down; every house is shut up, so that no man may come in.

11 There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone.

12 In the city is left desolation, and the gate is battered with destruction.

13 When it shall be thus in the midst of the land among the people, it shall be like the shaking of an olive tree, and the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done.

14 They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the LORD, they shall cry aloud from the sea.

15 Therefore glorify the LORD in the dawn's light, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the sea.

16 From the uttermost part of the earth we have heard songs: "Glory to the Righteous One." But I said, "My leanness, my leanness, woe to me! The treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yes, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously."3

17 Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon you, O inhabitant of the earth.

18 And it shall come to pass, that he who flees from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit, and he who comes up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare; for the windows from on high are open,4 and the foundations of the earth shake.

19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is dissolved, the earth is exceedingly moved.

20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard [earthquakes], and shall be removed like a cottage; and its transgression shall be heavy upon it, and it will fall, and not rise again.5

21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD will punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth. [Today every man on the earth is his own king. He conducts his life without subservience to anyone, much less to God. He walks in his carnal mind, in the flesh, following the imagination of his own heart, which is worse than serving stone and wooden idols. The host of the high ones are the demons who will be removed from the earth and at long last punished.]

22 And they will be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and will be shut up in the prison; and will they be punished after many days.

23 Then the moon will be confounded and the sun ashamed for the LORD of hosts will reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients, gloriously.

1 The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants, because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, and broken the everlasting covenant. We can easily see that the earth is defiled, filled with evil, filled with men pursuing their selfish lusts and pride. We can easily see that even Christendom is filled with transgressors of the law, people who still sin. Christendom follows ordinances created by men: infant baptism, bread and wine as a ceremony, confession, penance, last rites, and hundreds of laws passed by the Roman sect, passed down as papal bulls. All the sects have broken the everlasting covenant, who is Jesus Christ, whose blood is intended to give us access to heart-and-soul-purifying grace, but instead grace has been turned into a license for immorality — his blood is used to live a life of sin without fear of God, with the false promise of heaven after death. So the covenant and his blood have been trampled under the lies of depraved men, who in effect promote and excuse sin:

How much more severe a punishment, do you suppose, will be thought worthy for one who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has acted with spite [contempt] to the Spirit of grace? Heb 10:29.

The false church has made the blood of Jesus an excuse for evil, and therefore they have made his blood and unholy thing; and so they trample on Jesus and show contempt for grace.

Jesus told us six times we must deny ourselves and pick up our cross daily to follow him; then he died a horrible death on the cross to show us the extent of obedience required; but the sects have ignored the cross, ignored repentance, ignored the fear of God, ignored purifying grace, ignored the requirements of holiness. Instead, the sects of Christendom have adulterated with the world, licensing their followers in the pursuit of greed, wealth, possessions, immorality, pride, covetousness, anger, envy, drunkenness, revelry — everything that is clearly stated in the scriptures as tickets to Hell. The sects have gutted all the teachings of Jesus and have made the Bible hollow, creating their own concept of Jesus from the tiny subset of scriptures they choose to worship.

The blind guides of Christendom have defined a horribly evil, unfair, unjust God, who judges sinners who believe in Jesus with a completely different standard than all the other people of the earth. And so, the names of Jesus and God are blasphemed by the peoples of the earth. From the Word of the Lord within:

Following the doctrines of Christianity's merchants of death, masquerading as Christ's ministers, you can be a repeat murderer, a full-time thief, a habitual adulterer, a child rapist, a chronic liar, cheating your neighbor, hating your mother and father, and still be a Christian as long as you believe in Jesus. Is it any wonder why Christianity is held is such contempt today? Christianity has cast the law behind their backs, calling evil good, calling the wicked righteous, while totally ignoring the Bible's many stated exclusions, requirements, and qualifying conditions of salvation. (Click on each of these exclusions, requirements, and qualifying conditions to read them for yourselves; they are undeniable and clearly show that Christendom is a hollow shell of the original Christianity of the Apostles and the Bible, substituting pagan ritual, ceremony, and theater, instead of the cross, purity, cleanliness, righteousness, and holiness.)

Christianity has turned into Babylon, just as the Bible predicted. Jesus said the false prophets in sheep's clothing would come. John said the antichrists and false apostles had come and had gone out from among them. Peter saw the false teachers had come. Paul saw the false apostles had come, and warned the brothers night and day for three years of more coming. And in Revelation, John saw where the whole world was to go after the false prophets and the false church, which occurred shortly afterwards. The false church is Revelation's whore of Babylon, riding the beast of many names [41,000 sects in Christendom], with horns like a lamb [resembles the true church], but who speaks like a dragon [men speaking from their carnal minds, which is enmity with God, and their vain opinions from their evil imaginations] instead of speaking words supplied by the Holy Spirit, as Jesus and the Apostles did. From the word of the Lord within: "the earth has no love of God and no common sense."

2 Therefore the curse has devoured the earth, and those who dwell in it are desolate; therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men are left.
The many messages from the Word of the Lord within below seem to, (based on the limitations of my earthly mind), refer to this earth; however, so great is the mystery of godliness, so great is the mystery of an earth within each man's heart, so great is the mystery of Revelation being a personal experience, it is entirely possible that all the below messages refer to the earth within each man's heart; that earth being thinned of all sinners, populated and ruled by the Lord through His remaining, perfected saints whose thoughts, words, and deeds are all commanded by Him. I truly do not know if this chapter refers to the earth we know, or if it refers to the earth in every man's heart.

There are two messages that strongly seem to apply to this physical earth:

However, the above conclusions could be clouded by the limitations of my earthly mind not fully grasping the depth of the mystery.

Whatever, this is not the end of the world. This is the end of the era of sin in the world. From the Word of the Lord within: "long have we tolerated evil in the world; it is no longer tolerable." As God destroyed all the sinners in the Old World by water in the great flood, and from which only Noah and his family escaped, so God will thin the earth of all but those who have the Light of God directing them. The world will still go on after the thinning. Only righteous people will be left alive. The Lord will rule all the earth through his saints on the earth: the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he will reign forever and ever. Rev 11:15. The population will be drastically reduced. From the Word of the Lord within: "the power that gave them life, gives them death." This chapter parallels many of Revelation's prophecy as to what will happen: great heat, most likely accompanied by drought, earthquakes, famine, the cities destroyed by panicked people destroying each other, etc.

Men in general have become godless, similar to before the great flood that wiped out all men except Noah, his children, and their families. The world has forgotten about God. The world's peoples have immersed themselves in sin: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lack of restraint, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, arguments, jealousies, rage, selfishness, divisiveness, covetousness, envies, murders, drunkenness, foolishness, revelries [partying], etc. Our culture has increased dramatically in violence, sexual immorality, profanity, rage, fraud, lying, drugs, drunkenness, pornography, etc. What chance does a child have, who is born in the world today, to know about virtue, honesty, self-control, humility, or godly living, growing up in the world today? By the time the innocent child is twelve or thirteen, he or she is already corrupted with pornography, drugs, sex, violence, etc. I once saw a beautiful 3 year old little girl, of a___religious family that has little chance of responding to anything referencing Jesus. I thought to myself: what a shame that beautiful child will not live through the coming troubles. Later the Lord told me: "I love the___children too, but I want to see them bloom. You will see them break forth." If you understand that the more selfish acts a person commits while on earth, the longer it takes that person to dig themselves out of Hell; (see Is There Hope for All), then you can see how death can be a merciful act, if performed by He who can see the future and knows how much deeper a person would have dug themselves in, remaining alive.

The Lord has said that since he had destroyed the people of Jerusalem, which was called by His name, do we think we will go unpunished? Jer 25:29. Through Jeremiah, He has also told us that walking after the imaginations of our own heart is worse than falling down and worshipping stone or wooden idols. Jer 16:12. There is a day soon coming when the Lord will destroy all sinners from the earth, whether they think they are saved or not — all who continue to sin will be destroyed. This agrees with Isaiah: This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth; and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations. Isa 14:26. AND He shall destroy the sinners out of the land. Isa 13:9. He shall execute judgment on the nations. He shall fill all places with the dead bodies. He shall crush the rulers across the earth. Psa 110:6.

The troubles are to shake the tree to get the remaining, unpicked fruit to the ground. This is the final harvest of the kingdom age; to wake people up from their complacent life styles, fear God, and seek his favor. Those who do will be guided and protected by God; those who don't will perish from the earth, and learn the hard way about love vs. lust, sin vs. righteousness, humility vs. pride, good vs. evil, light vs. darkness. See Is There Hope for All for more on those who have to learn the hard way, with far less reward.

Related messages from the Word of the Lord within:

The Lord told us when this event would occur in Malachi: he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, or else I will come and strike the earth with a curse. Mal 4:6. Translated: when love turns cold on the earth, even among families, he will strike the earth.

We know from Malachi 4:5, that before this destruction takes place, the whole world will hear the voice of the Lord, from his prophet Elijah; like John the Baptist was Elijah to the generation at the time of Jesus. Elijah will be one or more persons of this generation with the spirit of that ancient prophet, who will warn the world of coming disaster, and who will show the power of the Lord in a convincing manner, to validate their warnings. Those who ignore the warnings will certainly be destroyed. Those few who repent to change their ways and seek the Lord will be spared; but few will be left. Thus the Lord's righteousness will spread over the entire earth: For as the earth brings forth her bud, and as the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations. Isa 61:11. For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea. Hab 2:14.

So everyone will hear his pleading; everyone will have the chance to turn to God. Unfortunately the vast, vast majority of people will totally ignore it; some will listen, understand, but be indifferent to the call to change their ways of sin; very, very few will heed the call and persist to receive his changing grace and survive the coming troubles. Does that make God cruel? No! Remember everyone on the earth eventually dies anyway; this life is nothing but the birth canal for the next life. An early death can be merciful, when you consider that the longer a person continues walking by their carnal mind, it increases the difficulty and time necessary to dig oneself out of Hell, and eventually be received in the outer court of heaven. All is well that ends well; and God has a plan in the next life for all to end well for all, (for more on this subject, see Is There Hope For All).

Those who have progressed to have become guided by the light from God will be directed to places of safety and protected, for these people will be the beginnings of a new and glorious age of the earth: like a restoration of the Garden of Eden, where the curse of the earth is removed, man no longer works for his food, man no longer lives by his own mind — but where man lives in a glorious community of love, each man guided by God, everyone sharing their love for God and each other. Those who chose to follow God will be witnesses to the greatest events in the history of this planet. The earth will restored and become even more beautiful than we have ever imagined. It is back to the Garden of Eden, where man had dominion over the earth and walked with God. The community of God's people will be brought together, to live in harmony and love, living off the fat of the land. All will be good. All will be peace. All will be love. All will be provided by God. It will not be a world of technology, like today's. From this group of survivors, the world will eventually be re-populated; but remain free of sin as children are brought up in the wisdom and love of perfect parents and grandparents.

From the Word of the Lord within: "It will be a pluralistic society. No longer will a woman have to sell her body in order to feed her children. Everything will be provided. Let's go to a new land where children are a score. The Lord's wisdom will rain the children. The sole purpose of the new world is to not harm children. All is being done for the sake of the children. No longer will children have to suffer the influences of their parents. The saints will spread and populate the entire face of the earth."

For several years, once each week I had the privilege of picking up my grandson from his pre-school, which I dearly enjoyed because I got to see twenty young children at play. I was constantly amazed at their innocence, and it still strikes me that every person was once a precious, innocent child — even Adolph Hitler and Jeffrey Dahmer were once precious, innocent children. Yes, undoubtedly people make the wrong choices, but depending on their circumstances, the enveloping evil of the world corrupts all children in varying degrees; and I am excited to think about the promised new world where young children can mature to holy adulthood, remaining innocent and pure, growing up in an environment of love and wisdom. What a wonderful world that will be, and we are going to witness it: the greatest events in the history of the earth.

The Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations....the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. Isaiah 61:11,11:9,2 Pet 3:13. Several early Quakers foresaw this time of the Lord establishing only righteousness in the earth.

Edward Burrough wrote:

He will have his name, exalted and reverenced in this island [England], and his terror shall be sent out of it through the world, and his branch from it shall spread over the earth; he does purpose in his season to take it into his own hand, and to sway the government thereof with his own scepter, and to set up righteousness alone, and to overthrow all oppressors and oppressions; and the kingdoms of this world must become the kingdoms of the Lord, and of his Christ. Rev 11:15.

Stephen Crisp spoke :

the kingdom of Christ shall be advanced, and it shall be outwardly, and a broom of destruction shall sweep away all his enemies from the earth, and the wrath of God shall burn against them; but there is a stubbornness and hardness of heart that has been upon the nations of the world, and something has stood in the way in all generations.

Isaac Penington wrote:

Whenever such a thing shall be brought forth in the world, it must have a beginning before it can grow and be perfected. And where should it begin but in some particulars in a nation, and so spread by degrees, until it has overspread the nation, and then from nation to nation, until the whole earth is leavened?

Ambrose Rigge wrote:

For God will prosper his work and spread his name in the earth; and many shall yet come to behold the rising of the Sun of righteousness in their hearts; for so shall the gospel day spring to all nations, and the ministration of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus, shall exceed in glory all that ever went before it, and shall enrich the gentiles with righteousness, and be the last and greatest that mankind shall be visited with; by which the knowledge of the power and glory of God, in due time, shall cover the earth, as the waters do the sea.

3 From the uttermost part of the earth we have heard songs: "Glory to the Righteous One." But I said, "My leanness, my leanness, woe to me! The treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yes, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously." All over the earth is singing heard to the Lord, but the singing comes from Babylon, from the members of the whore's false church, still locked into sins, still with hearts full of evil; their lips sing to Him, but their hearts are far from him. Their hearts are defiled with sin; and so their singing is an abomination, for it sings to a God who excuses sins, who embraces sin, who has no laws — Satan impersonating God.

So the Lord decries his leanness, his lack of true worshipers, who worship in Spirit and Truth, with hearts that have been cleansed by him; with new hearts, new minds, and new spirits; who have been taught all things and all truth by the Holy Spirit; who understand the difference between love vs. lust, sin vs. righteousness, turmoil vs. peace, humility vs. pride, good vs. evil, light vs. darkness, bitter vs. sweet. From the Word of the Lord within: "it saddens me, how few educated there are."

The treacherous dealers are the ministers of Christendom, Babylon, having sold their congregations to destruction in their blind teachings while collecting money for their liestrue treachery. The ministers of Christendom not taught by the Lord's voice and light, not perfected by the Lord, not gifted with an authorized ministry, not sent by the Lord, and not speaking words from the Spirit of the Lord; rather they speak from their carnal minds, the nature of death, and preach their vain opinions from the imagination of their evil hearts. These ministers of Satan's Babylon masquerade as ministers of righteousness, themselves fooled to believe they are ministers of Christ.

This is the way Jeremiah describes it for the false shepherds and elders of Babylon:

Wail you shepherds and cry; and wallow in the ashes, you principal ones of the flock; for the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions have come, and you shall fall and be shattered like a crystal glass.
The shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the principal ones of the flock to escape.
A voice of the cry of the shepherds, and a wailing of the principal ones of the flock, shall be heard. For the LORD has destroyed their pasture.

As the troubles begin, those still in Babylon can be expected to be singing most intensely. The pre-tribulationists expecting to be raptured up into heaven any minute; the post-tribulationists circling the wagons to protect themselves; both probably taking refuge in their sect's buildings, assuming they will be spared and the louder they sing, the more favor with God they gain; but their worship is in vain, worshiping in their selfish, sinful nature, fathered by Satan, instead of worshiping in the truth and Spirit of God, the only worship pleasing to God.

4 for the windows from on high are open, Water, lightnings, and hail come from the windows from on high. From the Word of the Lord within: "Sudden rain gets the best of everything, and then an interruption in the oil supply. The fields will be a mess. The ungodly will panic." Those who till the ground shall mourn for their seeds shall fail through the blight and hail, and with a terrible storm. 4 Esdras 15:13. And suddenly shall the sown places appear unsown, the full storehouses shall suddenly be found empty. 4 Esdras 6:22. The rivers shall run together in a terrible manner. Wisdom 5:23. Fire, and hail, and flying swords, and many waters, that all fields may be full, and all rivers, with the abundance of great waters. 4 Esdras 15:41.

And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone weighed a talent (about one hundred pounds); and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague of it was exceedingly great. Rev 16:21. 100 pound hail stones would destroy everything they hit.

Have you entered into the treasures of the snow? Or have you seen the treasures of the hail, which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war? Job 38:22-23

George Fox in multiple writings mentions hailstones as a personal, spiritual plague, rather than a physical event on the earth. The following is from George Fox's Letter #91, which shows that the seven thunders and the seven bowls, (or vials), or plagues, including the hail and earthquakes, are an individual experience of tribulations in the revealing, (the revelation), of Christ within you:

In the spirit of the living God wait upon God,
to learn of and to be taught by him.
For now the beast opens his mouth in blasphemy,
speaking great swelling words.
And now is the cage of unclean birds, and the unclean spirits,
which are gone forth into the earth, seen.
And now are the locusts seen, and the caterpillars known.
And now are the seven thunders uttering their voices.
And now are the hailstones falling,
and the vials of the wrath of God pouring out upon the beast and the false prophet.

From the Word of the Lord within: "Be not dismayed." Those with light that guides them will be protected.

5 the foundations of the earth shake. The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is dissolved, the earth is exceedingly moved. The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard [earthquakes], and shall be removed like a cottage; and its transgression shall be heavy upon it, and it will fall, and not rise again. There was a great earthquake, such as had not been since men were upon the earth, so mighty was the earthquake, and so great. Rev 16:18. George Fox in multiple writings mentions earthquakes as a personal, spiritual experience, rather than a physical event on the earth. This great earthquake comes on the righteous as Jesus appears to destroy the sin in them, or it comes on the wicked when they die. Below are a few of Fox's statements, written over 300 years ago:

And now the great earthquake John speaks of, is coming among you false prophets, antichrists, harlots, and apostates from the apostles, compellers to your worship.

And an earthquake is coming upon you that has not been since the foundation of the world, out of which earthquake we have come, into what cannot be shaken.

Woes, vials, thunders, plagues, and earthquakes are come, and coming upon you!

This light will let you see the good ground without you; so are they who are the good heart, plowing up outside, so plowing up the fallow ground within you. As you hear the thunder without you, so you may hear the thunder within you; the voice without, so the voice within you. These are figures. As the earthquake without you, so the earthquake within you; and as mountains without you, so mountains within you; as hail-stones without you, so hail-stones within you; as wolves without you, so the nature of wolves within you; here you can go no way but you may read your figure.

Now is the fulfilling of the word of God. Now is the earthquake known, such an earthquake as has not been since the foundation of the world. The mystery of iniquity shall be discovered, and the true mystery of godliness is revealed, which does discover it. Glory to God in the highest, and the Lamb and the saints shall have the victory.

The alarm to the world is given, the trumpet is sounding, the woes is going forth, plagues to the beast, vials, and thunders, and earthquake, such a one as has not been since the foundation of the world,

Now see your fenced cities broken down with the arm of the Lord God. The power of the Lord God is going over your city to break it down, and you are as Cain, that went from God, to whom the woe belongs, and plagues, and misery, and thunders, and vials, and the earthquake shall be known to shake down that part.
