12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world [every man]. He who follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the Light of Life."2 [The Light (Christ) is given to every man who comes into the world, John 1:9, so that through the Light, all men might believe, John 1:7; and by abiding in the Light and obeying the Light, receive salvation to become a child of the light, a son of God. To follow Jesus is to obey what He shows and speaks to you by revelation. If you do not keep or obey the words you hear Christ speak to you, those words will be your judge when you die. John 12:47-48. From the Word of the Lord within: "Obedience leads to restoration of life."]

46 I have come as a light into the world [every man], so that whoever believes [depends on, trusts, obeys] in me should not abide in darkness.6 [The Light (Christ) is given to every man who comes into the world, John 1:9, so that through the Light, all men might believe, John 1:7; and by abiding in the Light and obeying the Light, receive salvation to become a child of the light, a son of God, living and walking in the light instead of darkness : giving thanks to the Father, who has made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.  9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; so that you may show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light;3 [From the Word of the Lord within, "all sin is darkness."  17 Delivering you from the [Jewish] people, and from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you,

18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, release from sin's slavery, and an inheritance among those who are sanctified and purified by faith in me.'2

Colossians 1:12

12 Giving thanks to the Father, who has made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. [To partake is to share in the inheritance of a son, who is in union with Christ and the Father. To be a saint in the light is to have experienced the light to arise in your heart like a magnificent star; and then be guided by God, who is light, in everything to do and say; thus to be walking according to His will, not your own will any longer. From the Word of the Lord within: "Walking in the light is to be guided through life by God; walking in darkness is making your own decisions as to what to do and say. First the light arises, then the kingdom. Light comes from faith in the voice. The arising of the light will be unmistakable; it is an ego-shattering experience.>"]

Ephesians 5:8-9

8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light. [To be in darkness is to still be sinning; to be a child of the light is to have persistently believed in the light and followed the light, who is Christ. To walk in the light is to be guided in what to say and do. All men sit in darkness and walk in darkness until the light arises in their hearts. From the Word of the Lord within: "Walking in the light is to be guided through life by God; walking in darkness is making your own decisions as to what to do and say. Light comes from faith in the voice."]

9 For the fruit of the Light, in all goodness and righteousness and truth,
