Luke 17:7-10

Display Chapter and Footnotes

7 But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say to him when he has come from the field, 'Go and sit down to eat?'

8 Will you not say to him, 'Make my supper, dress yourself, and serve me while I eat and drink; then afterwards you may eat and drink?'

9 Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I do not think so.

10 So likewise, when you have done all those things that are commanded of you, should say, 'We are unworthy servants, and have done only what was our duty to do.'"
