 7 The grass withers and the flower fades; because the spirit of the LORD blows upon it. Surely the people are like grass.

 8 The grass withers, and the flower fades away, but the word of our God endures forever."

 27 Therefore their inhabitants had little power; they were dismayed and confounded; they were as the grass of the field and the green herb, as the grass on the housetops, and as corn scorched before it has grown up.
