|Psalms 139 |
1 O lord, you have searched me, and known me.
2 You know my sitting down and my rising up, you understand my thoughts from far off.
3 You compass my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways.
4 For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, you know it altogether.
5 You have corrected me after and before, and laid your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain to it.
7 Where shall I go from your spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence?
8 If I ascend up into heaven, you are there; if I make my bed in hell, behold, you are there.1
9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
10 Even there shall your hand lead me, and your right hand shall hold me.
11 If I say, "Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me."
12 Yes, the darkness does not hide from you, but the night shines as the day; the darkness and the light are both alike to you.
13 For you have possessed my reins; you have covered me in my mother's womb.
14 I will praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are your works, and that my soul knows right well.
15 My substance was not hidden from you, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my substance, yet being imperfect; and in your book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.2
17 How precious also are your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them!
18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand; when I awaken, I am still with you.
19 Surely you will slay the wicked, O God; depart from me therefore, you bloody men.
20 For they speak against you wickedly, and your enemies take your name in vain.3
21 Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate you? And am not I grieved with those that rise up against you?
22 I hate them with perfect hatred. I count them my enemies.
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my thoughts.
24 And see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.4

1 If I ascend up into heaven, you are there; if I make my bed in hell, behold, you are there. One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Eph 4:6. The physical dimension in which we live on earth is the lowest dimension. Above it is the kingdom of Hell. Above it is the Kingdom of Heaven (of God, or Christ). Above them all is God. We all share the same space.
You wonder how that is all possible. One theory is this: If you examine an atom, there two primary parts: the nucleus made up of protons and neutrons, and electrons orbiting around the nucleus, similar to planets orbiting around the sun. The vacant space between the orbiting electrons and the nucleus is a minimum of 10,000 times greater in size than the nucleus. In that space, many parallel dimensions can exist; but we only see what our eyes were made to see.
2 in your book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. The book has already been written. Everything that happens has been seen before. Those whom God foreknew, he has called; he foreknew them, and he saw where they would respond to his call to become chosen.
3 depart from me therefore, you bloody men. For they speak against you wickedly, and your enemies take your name in vain. The demons are bloody men. They speak against God, and take his name in vain. They are tormenting David.
4 Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my thoughts. This is what the Holy Spirit does to every man who silently waits on God.
