 8 But what did it say? "The word is near you, even in your mouth, and in your heart [so you may hear and obey it];" that is, the word of faith, which we preach.1 [This quotes Deu 30:14, "But the word is very near to you, in your mouth, and in your heart, so that you may obey it." The Apostles preached that Christ speaks words from within your heart, to be heard, believed, and then obeyed in faith; thus the word of faith. The Apostles preached the words they heard spoken in their heart, and they preached that faith comes by hearing the word in your heart, Rom 10:17. Whoever comes to Him to listen to His spoken words, (from within your heart), and then obeys them, builds their faith on solid rock. Luke 6:47. You come to Him by sitting in humble silence, waiting on Him, as you listen for His spoken words and watch for His revelations.]

 17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.5 [Faith comes by revelation: Christ, the Word in your heart, speaking to you from within your heart, Rom 10:8. The words I speak to you are Spirit and they are life-giving. John 6:63. Faith is a series of revelations. Do not assume that one revelation from God is your evidence of being saved; rather it is his call for you to seek him with all your heart and soul, as the first priority in your life. Christianity erroneously teaches that faith comes by belief in the message of the Bible; if so, then how did Abraham, Issac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Moses, etc. have faith when scriptures were yet to be written? From the Word of the Lord within: "Once again, my word is in your heart and mouth, which is there to obey. What is the evidence of your belief? — operational faith. Faith is to hear the Word of God and obey. Only those who want to be clean can hear. I am only reached by those with a penitent heart. The Spirit gives life with every word heard. Hear and live."]

 2 Turn you eyes away from other things and fix them on Jesus, the author and finisher [perfecter] of our faith,2 who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. [By revelations to you Jesus authors your faith, increases your faith, and finally perfects your faith, until you attain salvation, (freedom from sin), and later union with Christ and God. From the Word of the Lord within: "Faith is a series of revelations." You sit and wait on God, listening, watching, and then obeying. His spoken words heard impart the life of God into your heart, John 6:63. You grow in faith with each revelation received. ]

 17 For in it [the gospel preached by the Holy Spirit] the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith;1 as it is written, "The righteous shall live by faith." [The righteousness of God is revealed in you as you increase in your faith. From the Word of the Lord within: "my true friends proceed from faith; it orders them. Little by little the Lord's will, will be progressed. Faith is a series of revelations;" with each revelation there is more faith and more righteous order in your life. You are saved through faith, and by faith your hearts are purified; but obviously in the beginning of faith, you are not purified, neither are you saved. You must contend for the faith, grow in the faith, build up your faith, increase in faith, perfect what is lacking in your faith, fight the good fight of faith, until victory when your faith is finished by the finisher; faith is a process and a journey, the end of which is to see Christ bring your salvation, to bring your eternal life.]

 5 For this very reason, make every effort [the maximum possible],2 to add to your faith, virtue [excellence]; and to virtue knowledge; [How do you add to your faith? You sit and wait on God, listening, watching, and then obeying. His spoken words heard impart the life of God into your heart, John 6:63. You grow in faith with each revelation received. By the grace of His revelations Jesus authors your faith and increases your faith in the progression of these verses. From the Word of the Lord within: ""I must warn you — you must make every effort to add to your faith and enter the rest."]

 6 And to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance [or patience]; and to perseverance, godliness;

 7 And to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love.3

 27 All things are delivered to me by my Father; and no man knows the Son but the Father, neither does any man know the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal him. [The Father and the Son are only known through revelation: by the son revealing him for the Son and the Father are one Spirit. You do not know God or Jesus by studying the Bible or attending sect meetings. From the Word of the Lord within: "Christianity has no idea who I am or what I stand for. They are a clueless, fruitless people. They have missed the mark. Do you know him or just pretend to know him; to know him is to have met him and listened to him. Seek the meeting. The way is clear: listen and obey." ]
