Romans 8:8

8 So then those who are in the flesh [living in their sinful nature] cannot please God. [Mark! If you are living for your lusts and pleasures, if you are walking by your carnal mind, if you are still without the continual guidance of God's Spirit, you are in the flesh. If you have not mortified the fleshly, sinful nature on the inward cross of self-denial, you are none of Christ's: Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires (lusts and affections). Gal 5:24.]

Ephesians 5:5-6

5 For of this you can be sure, that no sexually immoral, or impure, or covetous person, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. [The peoples of the earth have ignored these perfectly clear behaviors, (sexual immoraity, impurity, covetousness), that exclude any and all from the kingdom. From the Word of the Lord within: "Ephesians 5:5-6: This the void of the earth, made perfectly clear. Those who are immoral have no inheritance in God's kingdom." Paul just told us that covetousness is idolatry. So whatever we want or value, we worship; and how one spends their free time defines their devotion. From the Word of the Lord within: "you must learn to hate everything you worship."]

6 Let no man deceive you with vain words. For because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient.1 [Paul pleas with you not to be deceived by anyone who tells you differently, (e.g., that your sexual immorality, impurity, and covetousness is excused by believing in Jesus), which is what the preachers of Christianity do; even the demons believe in Jesus. It is only by waiting on the Lord to hear and obey his commands that one can become pure, free of sexual immorality, and free of covetousness. From the Word of the Lord within: "The way is clear: listen and obey."]

Galatians 5:24

24 Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh [the sinful nature] with its passions and desires [lusts and affections].6 [After your sinful nature has been put to death on the inward cross of self-denial, then you belong to Christ as you walk in love, following the Spirit, fulfilling the law; and then you receive an imputed righteousness. Having suffered on the cross, you no longer live the rest of your time in the lusts of men, but you live to the will of God, 1 Pet 4:1-2; which is to be obediently led and guided by the Spirit in thoughts, words, and deeds.]

Luke 14:27

27 And whoever does not bear his own cross and come after me cannot be my disciple.4 [The blind guides of Christendom ignore the cross and tell their followers that they are already saved just by believing in Jesus; but unless you carry the inward cross of self denial to crucify your selfish lusts, passions, and desires, you will be banned from heaven at death. To come after Christ you must wait in humble silence, listening for Him to speak to you from the Word within your heart; faith is to hear Him, and then you must obey Him. Self-denial occurs by obeying the Lord's voice instead of your will, (His will, not your will); this is bearing the crossthe inward cross of self-denial.]
