13 As we receive the blessed fulfillment of our hope, even the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ,

1 John 2:28

28 And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before him at his coming.8 [In Matthew, Mark, and Luke, Jesus is recorded saying that some then standing with him, 2000 years ago, would see his glorious coming in the clouds with the Kingdom before they died. Later Paul, Jesus in Revelation, Peter, James, and John, — all said, soon, the time is near, a little while, he stands at the door. Christendom blithely ignores this gaping incongruity between what the Bible plainly states vs. what they are taught by their blind guides. It would be a cruel hoax to be waiting on Him to appear if the past 100 generations of believers actually had no hope of ever seeing Him.]

2 Peter 3:12

12 While waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of Christ,2 in which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? [Notice! If you can hasten the coming of the day of God, then obviously it is a personal experience. Waiting for God hastens the day of Christ , when Jesus appears in a purified heart, when you are translated out of the physical dimension to the Kingdom of Heaven; the world passes away and disappears. 1 John 2:7. To wait on God is to listen, watch, and obey.]

2 Corinthians 4:6,3:18

6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.1 [Jesus appears, He is seen, He is revealed, in the purified hearts of believers. In Matthew, Mark, and Luke, Jesus is recorded saying that some then standing with him, 2000 years ago, would see his glorious coming in the clouds with the Kingdom before they died. Later Paul, Jesus in Revelation, Peter, James, and John, — all said his appearance was: soon, the time is near, a little while, He stands at the door.  18 And all of us, as with an unveiled face, behold as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, and are changed into the same image from glory to glory, by the Spirit of the Lord.4

Matthew 5:8

8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. [Blessed are those whom the Holy Spirit cleanses to purity, for they will see the glory of God in the face of Christ Jesus appear in their hearts, in ever increasing glory. When he appears, we will be like him, for we will see him as he is. And every man who has this hope in him purifies himself, even as He [Jesus] is pure. 1 John 3:2-3. He appears not just to be seen, but He then guides you through the rest of your life with what to do and say; then you are working righteousness like He did. Unless you have a pure heart, you will not see God; until your heart is purified, you will not see God, in this life or the next.]

John 6:40

40 And this is the will of him who sent me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in [depends on, trusts, and obeys] him, may have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day."2 [To believe in him is to believe what he speaks and shows you from within your heart, and your belief must be evidenced by obedience to his commands. Persistent waiting, listening, hearing, believing, and obeying, results in him purifying you from sin by grace so that you can see God in the face of Christ Jesus — which occurs simultaneously with seeing Jesus bring your salvation.]

1 John 3:2-3

2 Beloved, now we are to be sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we will be, but we know that when He is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him as he is. [A Son of God is like Jesus, who is holy, harmless, pure, separate from sinners, and with no sin in Him; and when we see Him, we will be like Him. Jesus appears in the hearts of purified believers. Jesus is seen. Jesus is revealed. He who has been hidden is revealed, Christ in you, the hope of glory. From the Word of the Lord within: "You are a son when Jesus appears in your heart to guide you." Then you are like Him: holy, harmless, pure, without any sin.]

3 And every man who has this hope in him purifies himself, even as He [Jesus] is pure.2 [What hope?—The hope of being like Him and of seeing Jesus appear in your heart is the hope that saves and purifies you; for we are saved by hope. Rom 24. You must have this hope for the power of God to be released to purify you. For of this you can be sure, that no sexually immoral, or impure, or covetous person, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Eph 5:5. Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God, Mat 5:8. — Christ in you, the hope of glory.]

Colossians 3:4

4 When Christ, who is our life, appears, then you will also appear with him in glory.3 [2000 years ago in the Book of Revelation Jesus told the church in Thyatira "hold fast until I come!" Jesus does not deceive people, and the people He addressed are long gone from this earth. For his statement to be true, He had to have come to them thousands of years ago. He comes to every man in all generations who has worked hard to follow His spoken commands to them. The return of Jesus is a personal experience in the hearts of purified believers; He is seen, He appears, He is revealed. From the Word of the Lord within: "I will come again to the elect; I will be their crown to lead and guide them."]
