3 And he shall judge among many people and return decisions for strong nations far off, and they shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
4 But every man shall sit under his own vine and under his own fig tree, and no one shall make them afraid, for the mouth of the LORD of hosts has spoken it.
|Isaiah 2:4-5 |
4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.1
5 O house of Jacob, come and let us walk in the light of the LORD. [From the Word of the Lord within: "Walking in the light is to be guided through life by God; walking in darkness is making your own decisions as to what to do and say. Light comes from faith in the voice. I am the light of the world; he who follows me shall not walk in darkness but shall have the light of life." Faith in the voice is evidenced by your obedience to what you hear; to follow is to obey what you hear the Lord speak to you as you wait on Him.]
