1 John 3:8

Display Chapter and Footnotes

8 He who commits sin is of the devil, for the devil sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God is revealed [in us], that he might destroy [in us] the works [sin] of the devil.4 [Let no man deceive you, saying that you can still be sinning and belong to God; those still sinning serve the devil. Christ is revealed in our flesh to destroy the works of the devil, by condemning the secret sins in our heart, and then destroying even our desire to sin. Paul confirms Jesus destroying the works of the devil in each purified believer: "the God of peace shall crush Satan under your feet shortly." Rom 16:20.]

Colossians 3:15

15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which you are called in one body; and be thankful. [From the Word of the Lord within: "If all that profess me, would possess me. The King is where He is king." Unless Jesus orders all your thoughts, words, and deeds, He is not yet your Lord, Master, or King. You can call Him Lord or Master, but so did Judas and so did Hitler. To be your ruling Lord and King, Jesus must first appear in your heart to then guide and rule you; and His appearance only occurs after you have crucified your lusts, affections, imagination, and carnal mind on the inward cross of self-denial.]

2 Corinthians 4:6,5:7

6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.1 [Jesus appears, He is seen, He is revealed, in the purified hearts of believers. In Matthew, Mark, and Luke, Jesus is recorded saying that some then standing with him, 2000 years ago, would see his glorious coming in the clouds with the Kingdom before they died. In addition Paul, Jesus preaching, Jesus in Revelation, Peter, James, and John, — all said his appearance was: soon, the time is near, a little while, He stands at the door. It would be a cruel hoax to be waiting on Him to appear if the past 100 generations of believers actually had no hope of ever seeing Him.]

7 For we no longer walk by sight, but by faith.2

Romans 8:14

Display Chapter and Footnotes

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. [To be led by the Spirit of God is to hear and obey his word from within your heart ordering all words to be spoken and all your deeds to be done. To be led is to walk in love, fulfilling the law. This only occurs after you have crucified your sinful nature on the inward cross of self-denial to then receive the fruit of the Spirit. If you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Gal 5:19. From the Word of the Lord within: "You are a son when Jesus appears in your heart to guide you. Walking in the light is to be guided through life by God; walking in darkness is making your own decisions as to what to do and say. Unless the Lord guides you, you have no chance. A perfect man hears what to do — a time of great joy."]
