Galatians 1:15-16 Display Chapter and Footnotes   15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, 16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him3 among the heathen; I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood. |
3 Jesus was revealed in Paul by God so that Paul could preach. This is the qualification of a true minister of Christ: to have the Son revealed in him before preaching. This is the personal experience of the Second Appearance of Jesus Christ, or the Return, or the 2nd Coming. Paul also said: Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son. Col 1:13. And: I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. Gal 2:20. So here, Paul testifies to the Revelation (the second appearance) of Jesus Christ in him, being translated into the Kingdom, and Christ living in union with him; all the great promises, experienced by Paul while alive, and witnessed for our benefit.
