² Therefore the curse has devoured the earth, and those who dwell in it are desolate; therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men are left.
The many messages from the Word of the Lord within below seem to, (based on the limitations of my earthly mind), refer to this earth; however, so great is the mystery of godliness, so great is the mystery of an earth within each man's heart, so great is the mystery of Revelation being a personal experience, it is entirely possible that all the below messages refer to the earth within each man's heart; that earth being thinned of all sinners, populated and ruled by the Lord through His remaining, perfected saints whose thoughts, words, and deeds are all commanded by Him. I truly do not know if this chapter refers to the earth we know, or if it refers to the earth in every man's heart, or both.

There are two messages that strongly seem to apply to this physical earth:

• There has never been a time like this; all men will twist in the earth.
• Little children, this is the seventh day of the kingdom; we are at the beginning of time.

However, the above conclusions could be clouded by the limitations of my earthly mind not fully grasping the depth of the mystery. The world exists to find God. When we find God, He produces a new heaven and new earth within our hearts; also consider what messages from the Word of the Lord within apply:

• "Your heart is a mirror of the world."       (which is apparently a three-dimensional image or duplication of the world.)
• "The world in every man is destroyed by the Lord."       (which is what the Book of Revelation is about)
• "I am He who destroys the world."
• "I am He who powers the earth."
• "From this one earth shall many earths come forth."
• "There is a promise of more worlds to come."
• "Jesus is a mighty name to be declared in all the worlds to come.
• "Guard and protect his name."
• "Follow me and I will lead you to a new land."
• "You will explore a new land, a place where no one else has ever been."
• "The world will be regenerated as it was in the beginning, world without end. God's Spirit powers the earth."
• "There will be a mist released, which shall cover the whole earth."
• "Everything will be provided. The Lord will teach us the early way of life."
• "Man shall not live by bread alone any no longer.
• "Let's go to a new land where children are a score."
• "The Lord's wisdom will rain the children."
• "The sole objective of the new world is to not harm children."
• "Witness alive in the new creation.
• "Those who wait on the Lord shall inherit a new earth."

Scriptures that confirm this are as follows:

• For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. Isa 65:17
• While waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of Christ, in which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. 2 Pet 3:12-13
• Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 2 Cor 5:17
• And the world passes away and disappears, along with its desires and lusts; 1 John 2:17
• Now all these things happened to them as examples; and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world have come. 1 Cor 10:11

George Fox wrote of the new earth of righteousness being experienced by those in who are Christ's, in Christ, in the new life:

But the sin being condemned in the flesh, Christ is manifest in the flesh, so that they become Christ's; they are God's, and are in Christ, who destroys the devil and his works, which are out of truth. And these know the new life, which God is served in; and these know the new earth, in which dwells righteousness; and these know the old earth, in which dwells unrighteousness. And these can bring forth things old and new.

Whatever, this is not the end of the world. This is the end of the era of sin in the world. From the Word of the Lord within: "long have we tolerated evil in the world; it is no longer tolerable." As God destroyed all the sinners in the Old World by water in the great flood, and from which only Noah and his family escaped, so God will thin the earth of all but those who have the Light of God directing them. The world will still go on after the thinning. Only righteous people will be left alive. The Lord will rule all the earth through his saints on the earth: the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he will reign forever and ever. Rev 11:15. The population will be drastically reduced. From the Word of the Lord within: "the power that gave them life, gives them death." This chapter parallels many of Revelation's prophecies as to what will happen: great heat, most likely accompanied by drought, earthquakes, famine, the cities destroyed by panicked people destroying each other, etc.

Men in general have become godless, similar to before the great flood that wiped out all men except Noah, his children, and their families. The world has forgotten about God. The world's peoples have immersed themselves in sin: sexual immorality (including adultery and fornication), impurity, lust, idolatry (including covetousness), sorcery, hatred, arguments, jealousy, anger, ambition, divisiveness, factions, envy, drunkenness, revelry (partying), etc. Our culture has increased dramatically in violence, sexual immorality, profanity, rage, fraud, lying, drugs, drunkenness, pornography, etc. What chance does a child have, who is born in the world today, to know about virtue, honesty, self-control, humility, or godly living, growing up in the world today? By the time the innocent child is twelve or thirteen, he or she is already corrupted with pornography, drugs, sex, violence, etc. I once saw a beautiful 3 year old little girl, of a zzz religious family that has little chance of responding to anything referencing Jesus. I thought to myself: what a shame that beautiful child will not live through the coming troubles. Later the Lord told me: "I love the zzz children too, but I want to see them bloom. You will see them break forth." If you understand that the more selfish acts a person commits while on earth, the longer it takes that person to dig themselves out of Hell; (see Is There Hope for All), then you can see how death can be a merciful act, if performed by He who can see the future and knows how much deeper a person would have dug themselves in, remaining alive.

The Lord has said that since he had destroyed the people of Jerusalem, which was called by His name, do we think we will go unpunished? Jer 25:29. Through Jeremiah, He has also told us that walking after the imaginations of our own heart is worse than falling down and worshipping stone or wooden idols. Jer 16:12. There is a day soon coming when the Lord will destroy all sinners from the earth, whether they think they are saved or not — all who continue to sin will be destroyed. This agrees with Isaiah: This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth; and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations. Isa 14:26. AND He shall destroy the sinners out of the land. Isa 13:9. He shall execute judgment on the nations. He shall fill all places with the dead bodies. He shall crush the rulers across the earth. Psa 110:6.

The troubles are to shake the tree to get the remaining, unpicked fruit to the ground. This is the final harvest of the kingdom age; to wake people up from their complacent life styles, fear God, and seek his favor. Those who do will be guided and protected by God; those who don't will perish from the earth, and learn the hard way about love vs. lust, sin vs. righteousness, humility vs. pride, good vs. evil, light vs. darkness. • Whoever does wickedly and unjustly will be punished.
• Your wickedness lies in shame.
• Every man was his own king.
• Then there were those who lived openly in sin with no shame.
• I will devour those who do not follow, and snatch the righteous from the fire.
• Clearly there are some who will be greatly preferred.
• To those of you who sit in complacency, doing nothing: the sword is for all of you that love the world and the deceivableness of lust; I will devour the earth.
• Those who have no light, on these I will collapse.
• Those who have light, I will spare.
• I will fill the whole earth with the bodies of dead men.
• The bodies will be removed, the rest stay.
• The Lord shall establish righteousness throughout the earth.
• It will be done.
• I will warn people about the coming troubles, about which there is no comparison; they are beyond anything you have imagined.
• In time of extreme difficulty, everyone turns to God.
• Everybody stops what they are doing, and waits on the Lord; I am sorry to say, but many will return to sin.
• Until one has seen and heard the troubles, they can't imagine them.
• Those with the mark of the beast will be given thirty days to repent.
• I will grant a remover; he is justice; the lion's share.
• I will order a reprover of that certain lifestyle, living a certain way; they can't be reached. I will give him words to speak. He will cleanse the earth; he will be my agent and authority, my cleansing agent. His hands will not touch. I will convey death."*
  
  (There will be a remover who is a supernatural being that brings death upon men according to the Lord's orders.
  There will be a reprover, a saint of the Lord who only speaks the words that the Lord orders Him to speak. His words from the Lord will reprove men, and if they cannot be reached, his words would then convey the Lord's official judgment of death, which the remover would then effect. The reprover will touch no one.)

Those who have progressed to have become guided by the light from God will be taken to places of safety and protected, for these people will be the beginnings of a new and glorious age of the earth: like a restoration of the Garden of Eden, where the curse of the earth is removed, man no longer works for his food, man no longer lives by his own mind — but where man lives in a glorious community of love, each man guided by God, everyone sharing their love for God and each other. Those who chose to follow God will be witnesses to the greatest events in the history of this planet. The earth will be restored and become even more beautiful than we have ever imagined. It is back to the Garden of Eden, where man had dominion over the earth and walked with God. The community of God's people will be brought together, to live in harmony and love, living off the fat of the land. All will be good. All will be peace. All will be love. All will be provided by God. It will not be a world of technology, like today's. From this group of survivors, the world will eventually be re-populated; but remain free of sin as children are brought up in the wisdom and love of perfect parents and grandparents.

From the Word of the Lord within: "It will be a pluralistic society. No longer will a woman have to sell her body in order to feed her children. Everything will be provided. Let's go to a new land where children are a score. The Lord's wisdom will rain the children. The sole purpose of the new world is to not harm children. All is being done for the sake of the children. No longer will children have to suffer the influences of their parents. The saints will spread and populate the entire face of the earth."

For several years, once each week I had the privilege of picking up my grandson from his pre-school, which I dearly enjoyed because I got to see twenty young children at play. I was constantly amazed at their innocence, and it still strikes me that every person was once a precious, innocent child — even Adolph Hitler and Jeffrey Dahmer were once precious, innocent children. Yes, undoubtedly people make the wrong choices, but depending on their circumstances, the enveloping evil of the world corrupts all children in varying degrees; and I am excited to think about the promised new world where young children can mature to holy adulthood, remaining innocent and pure, growing up in an environment of love and wisdom. From the Word of the Lord within: "I want the innocence of children to continue. Children will be raised in a pristine, clean environment; righteousness will flourish." What a wonderful world that will be, and we are going to witness it: the greatest events in the history of the earth.

The Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations....the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. Isaiah 61:11,11:9,2 Pet 3:13. Several early Quakers foresaw this time of the Lord establishing only righteousness in the earth.

He will have his name, exalted and reverenced in this island [England], and his terror shall be sent out of it through the world, and his branch from it shall spread over the earth; he does purpose in his season to take it into his own hand, and to sway the government thereof with his own scepter, and to set up righteousness alone, and to overthrow all oppressors and oppressions; and the kingdoms of this world must become the kingdoms of the Lord, and of his Christ. Rev 11:15.

the kingdom of Christ shall be advanced, and it shall be outwardly, and a broom of destruction shall sweep away all his enemies from the earth, and the wrath of God shall burn against them; but there is a stubbornness and hardness of heart that has been upon the nations of the world, and something has stood in the way in all generations.

Whenever such a thing shall be brought forth in the world, it must have a beginning before it can grow and be perfected. And where should it begin but in some particulars in a nation, and so spread by degrees, until it has overspread the nation, and then from nation to nation, until the whole earth is leavened?
