58 Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM."8

Then Moses said to God, "Behold, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, 'The God of your forefathers has sent me to you,' and they say to me, 'What is his name?' What shall I say to them?"

And God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." And he said, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: 'I AM has sent me to you!'"

And God also said to Moses, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: 'the LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you!' This is my name forever, and this is the name by which I am to be remembered for all generations. Exodus 13-15.

The verb used by Jesus in his statement, "I am," is timeless, not past, not future, just present before Abraham ever came into existence, which supports the timeless existence of being with the Father in the beginning, (John 1:1-2,Proverbs 8:22-30).

8 Jesus said: Before Abraham was, I AM. Sadly most of Christendom is unaware that Jesus created the heavens and the earth, before he came to the earth as a man.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word [Jesus] was with God, and the Word was god. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and there was nothing made without him. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.  He was in the world, and the world had been made by him, and the world did not know him. John 1:1-4,10-11

He [Jesus] is the brightness of the glory of God and the representation of his being, and upholding all things by his word of power. Hebrews 1:3

Who [Christ] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature. Colossians 1:15

For by him [Jesus] all things were created that are in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether they are thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers. All things were created by him and for him; and he is before all things, and by him all things consist. He is the head of his body, the church; who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that all fullness should dwell in him; and, having made peace through the blood of his cross, to reconcile by him, all things to himself; by him, I say, whether they are things on earth, or things in heaven. Col.1:16-20

Who, [Christ] though he was one with God and in the form of God, did not think this equality with God was something to be grasped; but made himself of no reputation, and took upon himself the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men. And being found in the likeness of man, he humbled himself further, and became obedient to death, even the death of the cross! Philippians 2:6-8

The children of Israel, were all baptized into Moses, in the cloud and in the sea; and all ate the same spiritual food; and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ. 1 Cor 10:2-4. And this was long before Christ came in the flesh; Christ was and is the Rock of Ages, and the foundation of many generations, both before and after his coming in the flesh.
