And the dead were judged out of those things that were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead that were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead that were in them; and every man was judged according to his works. 23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches will know that I am he who searches the minds and the hearts; and I will give to each of you according to your works.6 [Notice again! Jesus is referencing their works, which are works of loving obedience to the commands you hear spoken from God in your heart.] | Jeremiah 17:10 10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the mind,2 to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings [works]. | Matthew 12:36-37,16:27 36 But I say to you, for every idle [non-edifying] word that men speak, they will give an account of the same in the day of judgment. [From the Word of the Lord within: "People don't realize the evil that comes from their mouth. All talk is an abomination. Conversation is to be restricted so much that you are ostracized. Let your words be as few as possible." "Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth except what is edifying, so that it may minister grace to those who hear you." Eph 4:29. "But let your 'yes' be 'yes,' and your 'no,' 'no;' for whatever is more than these comes from the evil one (the spirit of Satan within you)." Mat 5:37.] 37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."4 [For we all err in many things; and if any man does not err in his words, he is a perfect man. James 3:2. So if you are going to be condemned for speaking idle words, and if you cannot control your words until you are perfect, then perfection is obviously required to be justified and saved. We must make the tree good, (perfect) to produce good fruit, or it will be cut down and cast into the fire. From the Word of the Lord within: "A good tree is a holy tree. You must be holy as I am holy. Pursue righteousness and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord." ] 27 For the Son of man will come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he will reward every man according to his works. [From the word of the Lord within: "Everyone is expecting Jesus to be their excuse. Do you agree with any who in their arrogance have stated that God excuses evil in believers? It's not fair, but they don't care. No man is promoted or excused that repeats sin. You are without excuse O man. People must stand the price for their very brazen behavior. All men are without excuse; if I were silent, they would have an excuse. I've warned them and given them the requirements and preached the exclusions; they should not expect anything else or conclusion. The way is clear: listen and obey. There are two things I hate: pride and an excuse for failure."] | Proverbs 24:12 12 If you say, "Behold, we did not know [at judgment];" does not he who ponders the heart consider it? And he who keeps your soul, does he not know it? And shall he not render to every man according to his works? [Notice! This verse tells us that ignorance of a coming judgment, or ignorance that judgment also applies to Christians, is no excuse. All men are judged on their words and works! And there will be many who say to Him on the day of judgment, "'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? And in your name cast out demons? And in your name done many wonderful works?' and then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you, depart from me you who work iniquity,'" (they were still sinning when they died and were defiled.] | Romans 2:5-6 5 But by your hardness and impenitence of heart, you treasure up to yourself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; [Heed! Every man has a day of visitation from the Spirit of God, gently pleading with him to change his ways. He who rejects me and does not receive my words, has one for his judge — the words that I have spoken [to him] will judge him in the last day. John 12:48. The penalty for not repenting is the wrath of God. But if you do heed and obey his words, he pours more words and Spirit on you. Acts 5:32, Pro 1:23,33.] 6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds. [Every man is every man, including those who believe in Jesus; every man is judged according to his words and works, be they good or evil. Mat 16:27,12:36-37, Rom 2:14-16, Jer 17:10, 2 Cor 5:10, Pro 24:12, Rev 2:23,20:13. There are no free passes to escape the fair, equitable, just, perfect, pure, righteous judgments of God. From the Word of the Lord within: "Without obedience you have nothing; sorry, there are not wildcards in the camp. No man is promoted or excused that repeats sin." Hope motivates us to expose ourselves to the commands of God; we are saved through faith, which is belief in what we hear; the evidence of faith is obedience to what is heard; the evidence of obedience is works as commanded; we are judged, not on faith, but on works or deeds.] | |||||
