3 she said in her heart, 'I sit as a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.' This whore, who embraces all the world's corruptions of lust, pride, greed, and sin, says: she is the bride of Christ, Christ is her husband, she is not a widow, and she is blessed by God. She has glorified herself with her cathedrals, vain buildings, palaces of pride, temples of opulence, art, stained glass windows, chandeliers, candelabras, robes, ceremonies; titles of Pope, Cardinal, Reverend, Doctor, Master, and Father. She has the scriptures, but picks and chooses selective verses, ignoring the vast majority that indict her. She tells her paying customers to ignore the scripture's exclusions and disregard the requirements of cleansingpurityperfection and holiness; just keep coming to meetings, celebrating their presumed salvation, paying their money, and recruiting more paying customers.
