Revelation 1 1 [This is the most misunderstood book in the Bible, particularly the myth of the rapture, (see footnote 1 below), that precedes the tribulation and the myth of the antiChrist, (see Footnote 5 of Revelation 13). This is a book which describes the revealing of Jesus Christ within a purified believer, while still on the earth, and to all unpurified people at their death. Before Christ is revealed in man, the man of sin within must first be revealed and crucified on the inward cross of self-denial. Notice! This book is the Revealtion of Jesus Christ, not the Return of Jesus Christ. "Christ in you, the hope of glory," Col 1:26-27; He who has been hidden in you is revealed. However, as the Word of the Lord within has said: "Narrow is the road that leads to life, and few will find it. These are not paths of glory traveled lightly." The principal founder of Protestantism, Martin Luther, had harsh words for this book of Revelation, saying that he could "in no way detect that the Holy Spirit produced it." Why?— because Luther insisted no works were required for salvation, and the book of Revelation greatly emphasizes the requirements of Christians to do works, even perfect works. In His messages to the seven churches, Jesus mentions to every church how their works are key; and Jesus said: I have not found your works perfect before God. Rev 3:2-3. He wants perfect works, energized by faith. What Luther and the Protestant sects failed to understand is this: See the Footnote to James 2:24 for more on works of faith vs. works of the law. As you read the letters from Jesus to the seven churches in this book of Revelation, you will see the emphasis on works of faith.] 1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to him, to show to his servants things which must shortly come to pass;1 and he sent and signified it by his angel to his servant John; [Notice! This book is the Revealtion of Jesus Christ, not the Return of Jesus Christ. "Christ in you, the hope of glory," Col 1:26-27; He who has been hidden in you is revealed. The rapture is pure theory, invented by John Darby in 1830. A bunch of sinning people who call themselves Christians, are not going to be translated into heaven, polluting it with their lies, covetousness, lusts, anger, immorality, and impurities; the Bible clearly states (Eph 5:5-6,Gal 5:19-21,Mark 7:21-23, Heb 12:14) such people sinning have no inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ. God expelled the fallen angels from heaven; he expelled Adam from Eden, and so he will ban men who still sin from heaven. Corruption does not inherit incorruption. From the Word of the Lord within: "The rapture — an embarrassment." It is an embarrassment to God and His disciples actually taught by Him. Why? Just like He said regarding those who think God excuses sin in believers: "it's not fair, but they don't care. God is just beyond measure. See myself — thus no sin has a place in me. Sin in believers is intolerable."] 2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he that reads, and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is at hand. 4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be to you, and peace, from him who is, and who was, and who is to come; and from the seven Spirits who are before his throne; 5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him who loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, 6 And has made us kings and priests to God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. 7 Behold, he comes with clouds; and every eye will see him, and also those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will wail because of him.2 Even so, Amen. [Jesus said: "For the Son of man will come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he will reward every man according to his works," Mat 16:27-28. (Not just a particular generation.) Some standing here will not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom, Mat 16:27-8,Mark 8:38,9:1,Luke 9:26-27; he comes to raise those men who have been crucified and purified to the kingdom. Those not crucified and purified see Jesus' coming in them as they die, as all peoples, all nations, all generations do. For those who die still sinning: "The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness has surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? Who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?" Isa 33:14. "For behold, the day comes that shall burn like an oven, and all the proud, yes, and all who do wickedly, will be stubble; the day that comes shall burn them up, says the LORD of hosts, so that it will leave them neither root nor branch." Mal 4:1; "Woe to you who desire the day of the LORD! For what good is it to you? The day of the LORD is darkness and not light." Amos 5:18. Woe to you Christians who think grace excuses your continued sinning for the Day of the Lord will be a terror to you.] 8 "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending," says the Lord, "who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty." 9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, in the kingdom, and patient endurance in Jesus Christ,3 was on the isle that is called Patmos, because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. [John, still on the earth, had been through tribulations; and he was in the kingdom. If any man wants to serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there my servant will also be. John 12:26. You live in heaven, but you are also on the earth serving the Lord. From the Word of the Lord within: "You can live in heaven and still walk the earth. I will come again to the elect; I will be a crown to lead and guide them." As George Fox ministered on the earth, he was translated to paradise; and then he lived in paradise.] 10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, [The Lord's day refers to the day of the week he was resurrected, which is the first day of the week, which is the day that the thousands kingdom-dwelling Quakers met ; and so did the early church meet on the first day of the week, not the seventh day Sabbath of the Jews.] 11 Saying, "'I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last,' and, 'What you see, write in a book, and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia; to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamos, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.'" [The blind guides of Babylon's Christianity teach that the seven churches in Revelation are the churches in seven different ages, but the fact that Jesus tells us to listen to what he is saying to all the churches indicates He is addressing the common problems of all churches in all ages. Every problem, including the churches being synagogues of Satan, are problems with all the churches and are warnings to anyone that can hear, (who has an ear), for in most every church there are a few of His people. He calls His few out of the churches, saying: Come out of her, my people, that you do not share in her sins, and that you do not receive her plagues. Rev 18:4. ] 12 And I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; 13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like to the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. 14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; 15 And his feet like fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. 16 And he had in his right hand seven stars; and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword; and his countenance was like the sun shining at full strength. 17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying to me, "Fear not; I am the first and the last. 18 I am he who lives forever, who was dead; but behold, I am alive forevermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. 19 Write the things that you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will be hereafter; 20 The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches; and the seven candlesticks which you saw are the seven churches." Next Chapter |
1 God gave this prophecy to John to show to his servants the things that would shortly come to pass. Paul, Jesus in Revelation, Jesus preaching, Peter, James, and John, — all said, soon, the time is near, a little while, he stands at the door. Because the Lord's return occurred to those who had purified themselves in their hope and faith of his appearance in them; and it occurs now to those who prepare their hearts to receive him by purification. See The Second Appearance of Jesus is Within the Hearts of Purified Believers for the details.
The rapture is pure fiction, embraced by all the itching ears of Christendom, surrounding themselves with false teachers who tell them that while they are still sinning, living their selfish life as they choose, walking after the imaginations of their own heart, and not listening for the voice of the Lord, that they are righteous and favored by God. Yet, these people are destined to be destroyed, and their false preachers are destined to be abhorred by everyone and cursed by all nations; and blackest darkness is reserved for those promising freedom to those just beginning to escape from sin. 2 Pet 2:15-18, Jude 1:11-13. I will bring, upon them an everlasting reproach and perpetual shame that shall never be forgotten, Jer 23:40. The Lord will never join his body to sinners; former sinners, yes; but never to those who are still slaves to sin. And, anyone who still sins is a slave to sin. John 8:34, Rom 6:16.
From the Word of the Lord within: : "The rapture — an embarrassment." It is an embarrassment to God and His disciples actually taught by Him. Why? Just like He said regarding those who think God excuses sin in believers: "it's not fair, but they don't care. God is just beyond measure. See myself — thus no sin has a place in me. Sin in believers is intolerable."
To understand how this myth was created by twisting the original meaning of the Meeting in the Air, see the footnote to 1 Thes 4:13-17.
2 Behold, he comes with clouds; and every eye will see him, and also those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will wail because of him.
Heaven appears to our spiritual eye as in a mist or in clouds — so, his coming is on the clouds of heaven, within the hearts of purified believers — just like he ascended: he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight. Acts 1:9. 2000 years ago, to the Jewish High Priest and the Pharisees at his trial, Jesus said.. "you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven." Mark 14:62. This is not a particular generation in our time or later. Even Daniel in 538 BC saw Jesus coming on the clouds of heaven: "I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him." Dan 7:13. See Howgill's testimony of the Lord's coming to men purified in this life, and those who die still in their sins.
The second coming and the day of the Lord are one in the same personal experience, which occurs for all men in every generation. For those who are crucified to spiritually die on the inward cross of self-denial, the second coming occurs as the Lord appears after the baptism of fire has burned all the remaining sin in them. Their body dies in this baptism of fire and death, but the believer is raised (resurrected) with Christ and translated into the kingdom of God. Though raised with Christ to live in the heavens, they still walk the earth as a new creature together, in union with the Lord. For those who physically die without having been purified on the inward cross and who are still slaves to sin, the appearance of the Lord when they physically die is a terror for they will suddenly see how hopelessly evil they are.
Jesus said, "So likewise, when you see these things happen, know that the kingdom of God is near. But take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts become weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and the cares of this life, and that day come upon you unexpectedly. For it (the day) will come on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth." Luke 21:31,34-35Jesus said: For the Son of man will come in the glory of his Father with his angels;
and then he will reward every man according to his works. (Not just a particular generation.)
Some standing here will not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom. Mat 16:27-8,Mar 8:38,9:1,Luk 9:26-27
Each time you sin, you are piercing Christ within you. If you have sorrow and regret, with resolve to not repeat the same mistake again, you have godly sorrow. From the Word of the Lord within: "your godly sorrow is a soothing balm to the wounds you have inflicted on me."
The wicked's eyes are opened when they physically die, to then experience the Day of the Lord, as described by Francis Howgill, (the kingdom-dwelling, early-Quaker):
"They shall look on Him whom they have pierced." For even in the wicked God has a witness which is pure, which checks often, though they regard it not, because the god of this world has blinded their eyes; but when Christ, the Light shall appear, He will make that to see in the wicked, which the god of this world has blinded; and they shall behold Him in dread; and His pure appearance shall make them horribly afraid. Although they would not see, they will be made to see; and they will be made to hear what they would not hear, when God sounds his trumpet, to give warning to all, that the dead, both small and great may arise, “some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.”*
*Some to shame and everlasting contempt is not everyone else who did not awaken to everlasting life. The Lord says a perpetual shame and everlasting approach applies to the false prophets, Jer 23:30-40, which would include the preachers of Christianity not called by the Lord, not taught by the Lord, not perfected by the Lord, not authorized by the Lord, not sent by the Lord, not speaking with words heard from the Lord immediately before speaking, and not doing only what the Lord shows them to do. Everyone who fails to learn how to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world, will meet His fury, (but not forever and accompanied by His compassion).
Even those who about to enter the kingdom will weep when they see how they have pierced the Lord with their sins.
To those who die still sinning, on the day of their individual death, the Day of the Lord with His appearance is a sudden, frightening experience, which results in great weeping and gnashing of teeth.
- Wail for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as destruction from the Almighty, Isa 13:6;
- The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness has surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? Who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? Isa 33:14
- For behold, the day comes that shall burn like an oven, and all the proud, yes, and all who do wickedly, will be stubble; the day that comes shall burn them up, says the LORD of hosts, so that it will leave them neither root nor branch. Malachi 4:1.
- And the people shall be as the burnings of lime; they shall be burned up like thorns in the fire. Isa 33:12.
- Therefore as the fire devours the stubble, and the flame consumes the chaff, so their root shall be like rottenness, and their blossom shall go up like dust because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel. Isa 5:24
- Woe to you who desire the day of the LORD! For what good is it to you? The day of the LORD is darkness and not light. Amos 5:18
Woe to you Christians who think grace excuses your continued sinning for the Day of the Lord will be a terror to you.
(See Howgill for more on those not purified).
From the Word of the Lord within:
- I am the terror to most people.
- There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
- We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, male and female.
- The Lord shall render to every man according to his works, good or bad.
- Every man's work must pass through the fire; every man's work is judged by fire.
- Everyone will be salted with fire.
- I will devour those who do not follow, and snatch the righteous from the fire.
- Judgment begins with the house of God.
- The righteous will barely be saved."
Even the righteous that are snatched from the fire and barely saved, before they experience joy and gladness, know the terror of the Day of the Lord in themselves; as witnessed by, (from his actual experience), kingdom-dwelling, early Quaker Francis Howgill:
"They who have not yet seen this day of the Lords vengeance in themselves, have never seen the day of salvation. The prophet cried out: 'Who may abide the day of His coming, and who shall stand when He appears?' And many have been eye-witnesses of the dreadful day-of the Lord, which has appeared in them, wherein all peace has been hidden from their eyes; and all who ever came to see that day of joy and gladness, first knew the terror and the terrible day of the Lord in themselves. Therefore said the apostle: 'We, knowing the terror of the Lord, persuade men.'"
William Dewsbury, another kingdom-dwelling, early Quaker, also left a testimony of the terror in the Day of the Lord:
I was slain and baptized, and lay as a little child under his heavenly chastisements; as soon as ever my soul was brought to this, in my humiliation. Oh! then, the dreadful judgment was taken away, and the book of life was opened unto me, and the Lord spoke comfortably to me, 'I have loved you with an everlasting love;"and I was made a Christian through a day of vengeance, and of burning as an oven; and the haughtiness and pride of man in me was brought low.
After the terror, for the crucified and purified, the Day of the Lord is a great joy, as also witnessed by Francis Howgill:
"The appearance of God, who is eternal life, in his day, in his immeasurable Light, is a great joy, and source of rejoicing to the righteous. For he is to his people an everlasting light, and in his light they come to see light. He reveals the secret mysteries of his kingdom in those who see his day appear in their hearts, which makes all things manifest, even the secrets of the Lord, and his hidden treasure, and his durable riches, which never canker or rust, but are fresh, and keep their pure image and impression. By this Light all the righteous, who have waited on God’s appearance, come to see Him. As it is written, 'Lo! This is our God, we have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice and be glad in his salvation.' Does he indeed come that you have waited for? Yes, come, 'and his reward is with Him;' and those who see Him find contentment in Him, and in his reward. And what is his reward? Joy, gladness, peace of conscience, assurance of God’s love sealed in the heart by the pure Spirit of the Lord, the streams of Life flowing forth continually from the great deep, which refresh and keep cool in the greatest extremity and heat of temptation; and this is enjoyed by those who have waited and do wait for it; even in the body they bear witness of Him and his coming.
3 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, in the kingdom, and patient endurance in Jesus Christ. Proving, John was in the Kingdom, had been through the tribulation, and had endured suffering with patience — longsuffering. The New Testament is full of references to the second appearance of Jesus being then, not thousands of years later. In Matthew, Mark, and Luke, Jesus is recorded saying that some then standing with him, 2000 years ago, would see his glorious coming in the clouds with the Kingdom before they died. In addition Paul, Jesus preaching, Jesus in Revelation, Peter, James, and John, — all said, soon, the time is near, a little while, he stands at the door. Christendom blithely ignores this gaping incongruity between what the Bible plainly states vs. what they are taught by their blind guides. It would be a cruel hoax to be waiting on Him to appear if the past 100 generations of believers actually had no hope of ever seeing Him.
In Matthew, Mark, and Luke, Jesus is recorded saying all the end times prophesies would be fulfilled before the generation of 2000 years ago died, (click here to see all).
He said: For the Son of man will come in the glory of his Father with his angels;
and then he will reward every man according to his works. (Not just a particular generation.)
Some standing here will not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom. Mat 16:27-8,Mar 8:38,9:1,Luk 9:26-27
Those not purified, to see Jesus' coming in them before death, see him as they die, as all peoples, all nations, all generations do.
Behold, he comes with clouds; and every eye will see him, and they also which pierced him: (also, the Jews 2000 years ago)
and all the peoples of the earth will wail because of him. Even so, Amen. Rev 1:7.
2000 years ago, to the Jewish High Priest and the Pharisees at his trial, Jesus said..
you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven. Mark 14:62
This is not a particular generation in our time or later. (See Howgill for more on those not purified).
